The Bio-Tek® filters are UL® recognized and specially designed to work with bio-fuels. Ethanol and biodiesel are very corrosive fuels. They clean the tanks and piping out resulting in a higher particulate ratio in the fuel. Each Bio-Tek filter uses microglass media, twice the life over paper, in order to capture all the extra particulates released by the scouring effects of the pipes and tanks.
